So I'll start off by saying I was never expecting these to be mint and I knowingly overpaid because of the American Adventure sticker on the RC

None of that excuses sending these wrapped in brown paper and bubble wrap and certainly not for failing to mention they've both been opened from behind :!:

Things like this can take the wind out of your sails. It certainly does for me. For every 9 decent folks out there, there's always one person to spoil it.

It's a shame that we have to constantly be reminded that we can't judge others by our own standards of honesty. I hope you can get some comeback with this ****tard, Carl. Sadly I suspect if they probably intentionally didn't mention the cut open cards in the description so that you can't make a claim of "not as described". Even if you are covered, and I hope you are, and ebay enforce a return and refund it would save a whole lot of hassle for everyone if they just didn't act like dicks on a daily basis.

What never ceases to amaze me is that these people think you won't notice. What's more scary is these same people are allowed to procreate.

Sorry to hear this Carl.

So many downs in this hobby but the hobby itself is the up, don't let the negatives grind you down.

Nothing worse than opening a parcel with excitement and the words "WHAT THE ****" coming out of your mouth. I have had a couple of bits arrive in the past that were faulty. Gutted for you Carl.

Hope you can get it sorted, it sort of makes you lose faith a little bit in mankind.

Sorry to see this Carl, hopefully you can get a full refund but that doesn't make up for the fact that you've bought something you wanted only to be let down by a tosser. Keep the faith mate.

I assume you have opened a case with Evilbay/PP?
Thanks guys, yes, in fairness they've made it even easier than they realise as they made the mistake of listing them as new, which eBay define as follows:

New
A brand-new, unused, unopened and undamaged item in the original packaging (where packaging is applicable). Packaging should be the same as what is found in the retail shop. If the item comes straight from the manufacturer it may be delivered in non-retail packaging, such as an unprinted box or plastic bag. See the seller's listing for full details.

Clearly the MOCs don't fit that definition

So they randomly refunded me today which is happy days, it does leave me out of pocket if I pay postage to return the cards so I was thinking just chuck them in a jiffy bag, address them and pop them in the postbox thus give them the headache of (a) collecting them and (b) paying the postage and fee themselves.

What do you think?

Lol, not a bad idea. I'd make the parcel as heavy as you can so they have to pay as much as possible in postage.
