Excellent interview with JJ. Makes me feel very confident that they picked the right guy for TFA. He just seems to 'get it'.

I'm quitely optimistic that JJ is the right man for the job, I am a big fan of the Star Trek reboot and from all the footage coming out from TFA, i'm sure we won't be disappointed. we can't have another TPM escapade!

Great article. It's encouraging that he's respectful of the past but not weighed down by the vast mythology of Star Wars and doesn't feel the need to explain everything, that there's going to be mystery in the story. It's encouraging that he's excited by the interaction between the actors too.
