Exactly what it states in the title, I've heard a lot of people putting this above Jedi, What is everyones order for the 7 movies?

Mine would be

1. Empire Strikes Back
2. Star Wars
3. Return of the Jedi
4. The Force Awakens
5. Revenge of the Sith
6. The Phantom Menace
7. Attack of the Clones

7? I thought there were only 4 :p

1. Empire Strikes Back
2. Star Wars
3. The Force Awakens
4. Return of the Jedi

I have always loved Jedi but nowadays I find it incredibly hard to stay interested in the film once Jabba's sail barge blows up..I get interested in it again once Luke is on the Death Star but quickly turn it off before I see any singing Ewoks!

I seriously can't sit through any of the prequels, sorry.

 Even though I've ranted a few times about the increase in prices/collectors since Disney acquired Lucasfilm and announced new films were on the way..I've been very excited about TFA since it was announced. The trailers reeled me in each and every time and the film didn't disappoint..what can I say - thanks to JJ Abrams I love Star Wars again :D

1) A New Hope
2) The Empire Strikes Back
3) Revenge Of The Sith
4) Return Of The Jedi
5) The Force Awakens
6) The Phantum Menace
7 Attack Of The Clones

I'm no film critic, so I'm not saying these are the best in order just my favourite to watch. I've only watched TFA once so it might move up but the more I think about it the less I like it. I mean we wait 10 years for a new Star Wars film and they end up blowing the Death Star up for the third time. I did enjoy it though and I'm wandering if the 3am thing has a lot to do with it, as I'm usually in bed by 11.

I'd go for :

1. A New Hope
2. Empire Strikes Back
3. Return of the Jedi
4. The Force Awakens
5. Revenge of the Sith
6. The Phantom Menace
7. Attack of the Clones

But 1-3 and 5-7 are all very close and interchangeable.

I assume that's a typo! If not, PM me your address and i'll get the funny farm guys to call round and collect you!

Mine.

1) SW
2) ROTJ
3) ESB
4) TFA

1-3 are probably interchangeable, i don't really have a clear favourite, or least favourite. I love them all.
If you insist on counting the prequels as SW films then it's probably....

5) A root canal without anaesthetic
6) A night getting ass raped by Charlie Sheen
7) Eating my own ****
8-10) any of the three abominations. They are all utterly utterly dreadful.

What can I say apart from I love ROTS, no typo and we've been here before on this subject rumbled on for a couple of weeks. Probably watched it more than any of the others since it was released.

For me

1. Empire
2. Star Wars
3. TFA
4. Return of the jedi
-------------------------
Revenge of the sith
-------------------------
Phantom Menace
Clones

I put ROTJ down the list because it was the film that I was so looking forward to as a kid, but the ewoks appeared too kiddy. When the cartoons appeared then in my 9 / 10 year old brain I had decided I had outgrown star wars. Back to the future, Ghostbusters etc were the stuff vying for my attention, space bears were a step too far especially when Empire was so ****ing good and taken my love for star wars and added crack to it. So the OT takes a fourth member. Revenge of the sith is the best film of the PT and the other two are bobbins. I watched TPM recently.. i just cant enjoy it - i skip to the fun parts. If I watch empire, I have to watch it all the way through, same with the multiple showings of TFA. It races along and thats why I love it dearly. Its a great addition to the OT.

Only seen TFA once, so could move up... or down after the next viewing.

Above Jedi!? **** right off! I can't believe so many people would put any of the four latest films above any of the originals. This is hard, I don't know if I've lived with it (TFA) long enough to make a decision. It's prob:

Star Wars
Empire Strikes Back
Return of the Jedi
Force Awakens
Phantom Menace
Revenge of the Sith
Attack of the Clones

Always tough with the OT, truth is I like them all the same :D

Very similar here. I put TPM slightly ahead of TFA, which is just slightly ahead of AOTC, and ESB ahead of ANH. Otherwise, same list.

I feel TFA is separate from the first 6 as it's not the work of George Lucas, as any Star Wars film from now on will be for me. :)
