TFA: ILM Concept Art

Postby RifleSmile » Mon Mar 14, 2016 8:13 pm

Guys

Thought I would share this in case anyone hasn't seen it. It's Industrial Light and Magics Force Awakens concept Art portfolio.

Some simply stunning art and some interesting things that didn't make the cut such as the falcon hovering over water with Han and Chewie on top of it plus Finn watching Kylo Ren torturing what I can only assume was Poe (but dressed a bit like a Jedi)

My god if they ever did prints

I think all of those pictures are from TFA art of book. Not sure if it's every one but the book is fantastic and worth picking up if you haven't already - http://www.amazon.co.uk/Art-Star-Wars-F ... ens+art+of

Really worthwhile and a good price for what it is, just need to wait until August now for the making of book (no idea why that's getting released so late, the DVD will have been out for 4 months by that time?!).

Noticed that and then also noticed a really nice Ralph McQuarrie set that's coming out soon albeit it's over £100
