I am on loose trawl and looking down the line to pick up a mail away stand then go for the best first 12 loose one by one funds allowing

What sort of money would I be paying for the stand? Are they easy enough to pick up?

As I say it's down the line a bit no funds just yet but would like an idea

Thanks

Haven't a clue what a mail away stand is but I picked up each of the first 12 complete for less than £10 each (not VCJ and DTs of course.) Hardest to get was Tusken Raider, then DSC of all things!

Actually just thinking about it I may have paid slightly more for the pin head Han.

Thanks bud

The mail away stand was as I understand it to display first 12 but not sure

That's why I posted it up
Thought it would be a nice idea and a project as you say figures wont cost the earth but just wondered about the cost of the stand

The problem with those is that you can't display variations. There's a yellow for sale for £40ish in the FS thread. PigCity I think.

When that display was made, nobody was collecting variations. 8)

Here's some info on the stand.

As for price it depends on what you want to go for. A stand with the mailer box, instructions, etc can go quite high. However, if you just want the stand by itself in decent shape, then I'd say anywhere between $50-$70 would be good.

Prices do seem to be a bit all over the place in looking at completed auctions. My only guess is it might be the influence of the stand being in the movie Argo.

I managed to get one of these a couple months back, looks great on display, even with the card backing a little tatty. I paid around the £30 mark.

Bloody Hell!

Been looking for ages for a MINTY one but can never find one at a resonableprice and they are mostly in the US!

Then you get hit by postage and customs.

If anyone finds ne in the UK, please let me know!
