It's just a hunch, but I think there's considerably *more* coins out there on the market since AFA loose grading took off.
Just think- all those nasty yellowy/brown POTF cards and 'beaters' people had been keeping...until it's now better to get a 'U' grading for the figure and sell on the coin.
Just saying, not to pay too much. Probably lots of high grade coins out there right now
