I've been offered an AFA 70 (card 70, Bubble 80, figure 80) 12 back Leia as a trade for something Im selling, and am after an opinion as to whether it would be a fair deal or not?

Does anybody know what one would be worth - to actually sell, not sit on ebay forever?

Thanks!

A 60 went on eBay for £279 recently. I have notes dated summer last year of 80s going between £650-800.

So that has to put a 70 around the £400-£500 mark?

whilst high grade 12 backs are still going strong, i would say a AFA70 is not really that desirable from a collectors point of view, I don't think it will go as high as 500£.

I would guess, it would be closer to 350£ - 400£ if you let it run in a normal auction on ebay.

Unfortunately I've experienced the AFA 70 something grade kiss of death when selling on ebay (and here)
Honestly with a grade less than 85 you might be better off breaking it open and selling ungraded, if you accepted the trade that is.
NB: I didn't send in for grading.

Thanks for the input guys - looks like it wont work for me, and the seller is probably wanting a bit too much for it.
