Hi,
Could I get a valuation on this tri logo yak face and 12 back jawa please.
I am looking to sell but not sure what they are worth.

Yak face- card has sun damage and is faded on the front. Also has some creasing and veining. Bubble has some dings and a 3mm cracks in the bottom. Fully sealed

Jawa- card has come creases and veining. Bubble is crushed but is fully sealed and has no cracks

Many thanks

I'd guess the yak would be around £600-700 but the photo's are pretty dark so it's hard to see the condition, especially the bubble cracks.

I'd go a bit lower than that. £400-500.

Only because I bought mine not so long back (8 months ish) with better card and bubble for a gnats cock just over £600.

I will make you an offer if you want, on the thread, but it might be way off your valuation and I don't want to start some sort of Facebook style auction.

It's up to you.

May also be interested in Yak if no deal is made with Ben. For that reason won't comment on what I think it's worth. I will say Yak is way overpriced compared to his rarity, there are many rarer trilogos.

Hi mate.

I have spoken to Edd and it's cool. On the basis of the washed out cardback and bubble damage, but adding in the fact it is a yak I would be willing to pay £400 for it.

I personally feel this is a fair offer but would understand if in the face of some of the valuations you have had on Facebook you went looking for more. Not sure on your circumstances etc.

I would quantify this as well by adding I have a tri logo erg and hybrid wbg, a pbp snag on a Rotj card, a glasslite r2 moc, palitoy 20 back Luke xwing and a harbert sandperson amongst my collection and this would be the most I had ever paid for a moc.

It is for my collection and would not be replaced or resold, save for me dying or a financial crisis at home, and I do mean crisis and not overspending on Facebook.

Have a think and let me know what you think. I won't be offended, even if you want to tell me to **** off.

Thank you for the offer but I would have to decline as I think it is worth a bit more than that.
I have seen several reseals go for over £400 and although the card on this is not perfect it is moc and displays nice enough.
Any more valuations would be greatly appreciated. Will hopefully list the yak on the for sale thread within the next couple of days once I have a few more valuations.
Jawa has been sold.
Thanks

Patience, Lots of networking, not selling stuff on, more patience.

I have made more good friends then anything else, which I value far and above any deal I have had from an individual.

I hardly ever buy off eBay.

No worries. I did think that we might be far apart due to some of the valuations you have been getting but the offer was imho what I believe it to be worth so I hope no offence was taken.

Good luck with your sale. You know where I am and what's on offer if it doesn't sell and you bring the price down.

To be transparent I offered £500, which was also rejected. I think the owner is being unrealistic with this one, yes they are selling for around £1000 in mint/AFA 80+ condition, but this one would probably score a grade of 40 or even less, and as we all know condition is everything. Yak is a very common MOC, it's not like a rare obscure Meccano where even a rough one can be worth thousands.

Here's a few examples:

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/252490653908 - £380 - lifting bubble and ink touch ups
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/131905013018 - £442 - lifting bubble
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/302017412777 - £575 - cracked bubble

They are all in a similar league to yours, the sun damage to your card is as bad if not worse than a cracked or lifting bubble.
