Hi, I have an original 1984 Imperial Shuttle but it requires some attention.

One of the wings is faulty and probably needs the gear replacing according to this youtube video I found:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WJIRcNLTOnw

Two of the terminals on the battery compartment are loose and keep falling inside (not fully) - left hand side in the photo. The motor makes a strange noise when batteries are inserted - not sure what should actually happen, no doubt someone on here will tell me. :)

There is one piece missing from the back, above the battery compartment - not sure what this is called?

Everything else seems okay, as far as I can tell. Got relevant stickers etc. Will try and post more photos later. Thanks.

It's a tough one, really. Given its issues, I'd say it's worth the sum of its parts, which is not an inconsiderable amount. Perhaps £150 in this condition? And, as I say, that's based on the parts.

I should point out that I would be interested in buying it if it were to be offered around this price. I don't say that in anyway to try and claim it but because I don't want there to be any suggestion of a conflict in interest in my valuation. Genuinely value at around £150 but, as always, it's open to debate so would be interested in seeing other's opinions.

*Edit* Just seen the missing piece you mention. It's the rear cannon and can be found readily:

I already have one, better condition than this example shown but would agree with the valuation stated above as a "ball park" figure...

Not easy due to the issues but probably is worth around that mark.

Thanks for the replies, ScruffyLookingNH and Darth Vader :), gives me some idea of price. A load more pics here. The brown/yellow marks on the last two pics look like they will wash off okay.

Not sure how I will sell this yet, possibly locally due to the size etc. (sunny Donny for anyone in South Yorkshire). Thanks
