Can anybody help to ID this wristwatch?

Postby thejettasetta » Tue May 29, 2018 5:02 pm

Wasn't sure where to put this as it is Indiana Jones not SW but I've reached a blank with IDing it, hoping someone here might be able to help?

I've tried Google, Ebay sold/ended, online auctions but drawn a complete blank so far

I have emailed the company in USA & they were very helpful, checking in their archives and messaging back & forth but it all drew a blank in the end too

Does anyone know where these were sold, were they retail outlets or at Disney parks? Thought it may have been sold at the Indiana Jones Stunt Spectacular maybe?

Packaging tells story of Indy finding the watch in a pyramid in a newspaper style design

Any help appreciated

My initial thoughts were unlicensed but seeing as the company name is on the back this must mean otherwise.
I'm amazed they'd have no records of it though :?

Looks like merchandising for The Young Indiana Jones Chronicles TV series which came out in 1992, same year as on the watch packaging, it could have been a promotional give away rather than something that made in into the stores. It's a cool looking item anyway :)

I did a bit of digging on Facebook for you, it’s a Lucasfilm fan club item.
These are from issue 15.
