Valuation help on VC Jawa and Luke DT

Postby r2isamale » Sat Jul 07, 2018 8:35 am

Good morning Gentlemen,

Thinking of selling my Jawa and Luke. With 3 kids around they never get out of the closet. And thats not right.

As the pics tell Jawa is 90 and Luke 85.

Both were bought from English gentlemen.

Thank you in advance,

Christian

Really nice pieces there my friend. Around 6 years ago I would have been able to help with the VCJ's as was getting these for around £350 but these days the prices are all over the place so guessing it depends on who wants it and how badly at the time. Sorry I couldn't be of any help but wish you well if you decide to sell. :)

At least £1500 for a 90 grade VCJ I would think...
Collecting SW since 1980.

I think that Cazza’s about there on the VCJ if nit a bit more if more than two people want it.
I was thinking £800 - £850 on the Luke?
Good luck with the sale if you do go ahead, but if your asking me and you don’t need the money, keep them.
You will struggle to replace them at those grades in the future I suspect.

My guess is if you list them on eBay, 10 day auction and starting at 99p :o you will not be disappointed with the end result.

@bossk what a lame comment - maybe remotely funny in 5th grade.

Maybe you should learn to accept what is clearly meant to be helpful advice. You only want to hear someone tell you that your items are worth significantly more than you paid to then try and sell for a profit.

Thanks for setting me straight Mr. Police man - I was a bad bad boy thinking about selling part of my collection for a profit.

Why is it a lame comment?? He is merely stating that they are sought after items that would do well at auction.
