Hi, I am new to the forum and having sold some of my childhood collection (Kenner/Palitoy figures and smaller vehicles) on eBay previously I am now looking for any help regarding the value or any interest in the remaining items as yet unlisted.

The larger items seem to be a minefield in terms of pricing so on finding this group I hoped that the knowledgeable would be kind enough to advise their thoughts and any recommendations they have. The main items I still have are:

Millennium Falcon (with all parts and sound although a screech I don't remember)
At-At (one chin gun missing, lights work)
Ewok Village (drum missing)
Rebel Transport (with trapdoor but one rear blaster missing and slight damage beside locking mechanism?)
Snow Speeder (Working light and sound, with harpoon and block but no string)
Assorted figures some complete and very good others incomplete/damaged.
* all items are unboxed.

Any suggestions on particular details that should be important before providing photos?

Thanks for any help,

Mark

I will have a bash at some Mark using Tracker and limited experience.

Ree Yees about £8 to £10.
Lando looks incomplete £8 to £12.
ATAT Driver £8 to £12 (broken weapon?).
ATAT commander £12 to £16.
Hoth stormtrooper missing skirt £14 to £22.
Chewbacca £10 to £14.
R2D2 sensorscope might be of interest broken at around £5.
Removeable limbs C3PO I couldnt sell at £8 so say £6?
FX-7 for around £6.
Darth Vader at around £8.
All of above depends on condition and perhaps people would like clearer images. There are some are distant images there that when zoomed in are fuzzy.
Weapons £5-6 for Biker Pistol, £6-8 for Hoth Rifle, £10-£15 for Imperial Blaster (different versions command different prices). Backpacks not sure but guess at a few £.

Not up to speed on those playsets or vehicles as some parts are harder than others to obtain in order to complete the items. eBay completed items, sold items or sales archive on here might help there and also with above figures. Puzzle might be of interest if all pieces are there as the poster is with it.

I am sure people will correct if I am way off here. I use Star Wars Tracker for sales and purchases so handy tool for reference.

Thanks Taff, much appreciated. These last few figures are mostly incomplete/poor condition as you suggested as I've already sold the other 50 odd that were in much better condition. The larger stuff is more difficult, having looked at some that have sold on eBay. I saw one Falcon go for £50 or so that had an AT-AT cheek gun on the top that required re-attaching according to the seller :)

The photos aren't the best I realise, and I will take new ones if someone is kind enough to explain to a numpty like me what they would like to see specifically.

Thanks again, I'll see what people make of the vehicles etc and then see if anyone is keen on anything as I'd rather sell here if im able as I'd prefer a decent home for them where possible.

Hi Mark,

No worries - it was a vain attempt to provide an interim service until the real experts arrive (they are very busy and hard at work buying stuff!).

Where and how did you get valuations on the 50 figures you sold?
Was it a bulk sell or individually on another site? Just curious if these were hand sifted out by buyer for faults or you kept these back?

Sadly hadn't found this site earlier this year so I sold the other figures and vehicles like Battle Damage X Wing, Slave 1, AT-ST, based on others that I'd watched for a period of months on Ebay. I'd only listed Ree Yees and Chewie along with 3PO previously for not dissimilar amounts to your suggestions above but no takers. I received what I thought were realistic prices with a few good ones like Yoda which was over £50 and £40 for Boba after commissions.

Shame I'd not found this group earlier but you live and learn.

*edit all sales were individual, no bundles.

I was quite lucky. I decided to re-collect then found this site and learnt quickly!

Might be worth a bulk sell for the remainders then and see how it pans out. One way of moving them on depending on what you would want to realise and how quickly you want them moved.

I almost put everything on eBay as a job lot at the weekend but found this site before I started taking photos. After seeing a few posts saying that I shouldn't sell all my childhood items I think I'll keep the speeder as a reminder but the others would have to go back in the loft which I'm keen to avoid.

I'll see what people say, I'm in no particular rush but lack any useful place for the bigger items...

I think that to keep one part, and the snow speeder is a good choice, is a great decision.
Please don't keep batteries in the speeder though, or your pay the price when the batteries leak!
I don't collect ships, playsets and loose, but here are my guesses, for what they are worth!
Loose complete figures £5 -£15
Broken figures - give to a child to play with.
Jigsaw £5 -£10 as the poster is included.
The Tauntaun looks like the reins are broken, so £10?
As for the ships and playsets, sorry no idea, have you tried eBay sold prices and then take an average?
Good luck with your sales.

Thanks Mini, I always loved the Speeder and it's very clean and fully working plus it'll sit on a shelf without much bother. Luckily I must have removed the batteries before it went in the loft as the battery compartment is as good as new.
