I am looking to sell my vintage loose star wars collection but am not sure what to ask, i am looking for a quick sale and dont want to sell any seperate, has anybody any idea on what price range i should be asking.

Nice set of figures, I think in all honesty you probably still have the same amount of $$ tied up in them as you spent on them in the first place if you can remember roughly?

Loose prices have always been pretty much the same with the exception of the rarer figures that tend to go up and down from time to time (DT Luke etc)

Good luck on the sale anyway, I think (although it sucks) single figure selling will get you more $ in the long run, not many people will pay full value on a complete set as they are going to buy to resell in most cases.

Judging by your collection you have been a collector for a while what with DT sabres and different cape jawa's and paint and mould variations.

Have you got any idea on what price you're hoping for?

yeah, it took me months to cut each figure in photoshop but it was worth it.

I really dont want to sell my collection but need to due to financial reasons.

I really dont have a clue on what to ask or where to ask. ebay looks like a nightmare,lol

would rather a quick local sale but thats probably unlikely.

Just to be clear though, the only real DT saber i have is the luke, the Vader and Ben are repro's, there we done just for the poster.

also the vlix is a reproduction, everything else is geniune though.

I have kind of been an on/off collector, been collecting for about 15 years

Does anyone know if there are any dealers in edinburgh or glasgow that buy collections?
