double screen size when I log in and wont let me add more
than 2 photos, and they go huge too and blurry???
Hello guys. I am quite new to this forum,
having only posted a couple of times, though
I have hung out over on Rebel Scum for a few months.
An avid, no, RABID collector of all things Star Wars
vintage, I have a large collection of autographed items,
some of which are just knock-out cool, like a vintage
1980 Lucasfilm ESB B&W promo shot of Yoda, signed by
Frank Oz, sourced from the well respected K9, signed
production used ESB storyboard from Robert Watts,
Alec Guinness autograph, a pristine loose collection of
the first 12 .... the list goes on and on.
I have many pieces that can be easily referred to as
"Holy Grail" items, and unfortunately, I am having to
let one of them go.
Here is quite possibly THE VERY BEST Harrison Ford
autograph you will EVER see.
Over on Rebel Scum, I have had this checked by
two of the top collectors with the best reputations.
Bendu approves, and I'm sure many people on here will
respect his experience as THE man to go to where Ford
is concerned. To quote Zhamlau: this is "About the most
complete letter perfect ford graph I've seen from that era".
What we have here is a vintage, LARGE and very clean
FULL NAME signature from Harrison Ford, signed on a
1983 Return Of The Jedi cast & crew listing that was
given away at early screenings.
It is a thing of EXTREME beauty - especially when
compared to his modern scribbles.
The signature on this piece is HUGE.
When looked at face on, this weighs in at around
11x17 inches. This is a four folder, and when folded
out, it shows the complete cast and crew listing for
everyone that was involved with making Return Of The Jedi.
Now the detail :
There is a white mark on the front cover which looks
to be have been a scuff during printing - though I would
bet Han's reward for rescuing Princess Leia that this will
NOT be the side you will be displaying ...
For display, it looks AMAZING when put so the signature
page sits next to the main cast which is shown in large print.
Problems with uploading photos mean that pic is not here but
email and will send you better pictures.
Over time, there has been a bit of yellowing, but nothing
that would in any way detract from this piece. For
something of this age, it is in remarkably good condition.
A VERY reluctant sale, this will be sent securely packed
and tracked and insured. Or, if you wish you can come
to my place and collect in person. If you are in reasonable
distance from Newcastle, I can hand deliver to you in person.
As you will have expected, an item like this will not come cheap.
