Hi All. I'm new to this. I'm keen to sell my Aust VCJ. If you read the thread on the valuation forum you will see that the guys have given it the all clear for authentication and advised of its uniqueness in the market. You will also see the photos posted there for quality. I have had differing opinions on the true market value for this little fella. AUD$3000 ono. I'm happy to look at all offers but am not in a real rush to sell.

If you really looking at AUD$3k, you are better off listing on ebay or at least expose it to the US market!! Good luck!!

Clearly this is too high given the lack of interest. I'm not in a rush to sell and definitely do not want to give it away. If you are interested in buying this please make an offer. This will certainly give me some perspective of it's real worth and whether I sell or sit on it.

Items like this can take time to sell, not many people pay this kind of money for rare variants. If you keep dropping the price you will sell it to a dealer who will flip it. If you're in no rush I would advise to stick to your original price and accept offers.

I would agree with Edd - your price seems okay, just a limited pool of buyers for this type of thing!

Certainly it would be a good starting price with some wriggle room in negotiation.

I wouldn't keep dropping the price unless you are looking for a quick sale. I think some old hands smell blood when prices start falling..

All that said, it depends what you paid for it in the first place I guess.

I thinks it's from a childhood collection.

Steve, if you ate looking to sell and no bites here try FB (the big pages like IC, Vintage Star Wars and Aussie SW pages) or eBay.

Wrightys correct. It's been in a box for 25-30 years. I've signed up to FB reluctantly on Saturday. My post on Echo got kyboshed because I didn't follow protocol. Who was to know? I've never sold on ebay so i have just started to put my figures on to try and get a sales history. This will take some time and if I haven't got any offers when everything is sold I'll ebay the little fella.

Whilst I'm not a member of Echo their rule of name and date on a piece of paper is pretty sensible for an item like this and with you being unknown as a seller.
You would likely do better on the American 12 back group, there seems to be more members in the market to pick up high end figures.
