Just astonishing. While I suspect a tad of spoof bidding is going on...there is a possibility, however remote, that someone is prepared to pay that for a card back.

Only my view - but it seems insane

The under bidder does look to be suspect but anything's possible I guess - http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Star-Wars-Palitoy-Boba-Fett-Action-Figure-Backing-Card-/192099406237?hash=item2cba04519d%3Ag%3ARrkAAOSwTglYmwNv&nma=true&si=Wyqpv8au5%252FdVsfV1R8ZlZXbCUK4%253D&orig_cvip=true&rt=nc&_trksid=p2047675.l2557

Far out! It is a desirable figure on a reasonably tough cardback in good condition. I don't think the final price is too surprising.

well, maybe a little...

Cheers,

That's ridiculous, no way someone has payed that. £625 for a cardback you have to be of your head.

I think the price is about right at the moment. The last two MOCs at Vectis went for I think £4000 each, so 5% for a cardback seems reasonable when compared to other figures (you easily pay £20 for a 12 back card these days.)

A collector had 5 of these for sale at Celebration last year ranging from £150-£250, some of them were in much worse condition than this and I think they all sold. This one is in nice shape.

Unbelievable I had no idea they were fetching this sort of price, how much is a 77 back Kenner one worth?
