Quite simply, they are harder to find 'variants'. some people are happy to own one biker scout with say a taiwan coo, some people need EVERY coo. The biker Scout was one of two 'macao' coo variants, which command good money because they are much less common. The final sale price was actually about right, if not a tad low.

One boba fett was a painted helmet Taiwan coo, again, less common, though not worth the final end price IMO. The other was a Meccano exlcusive Fett and that Coo commands top dollar. The end price would have been ok were it C9.5 condition, but with rubs, someone overpaid.

And the Rebel Hoth soldier, Well that is a Meccano exclusive variant with an individual COO and is very sought after, especially in good condition as the paint seems to be much more prone to damage on these. The end price was fair TBH, I didn't see it ending up much less when I first saw it listed. Ive seen nice examples of these for sale maybe 6 years ago at ~€200

Variants, Variants, Variants.

That painted head Boba didn't look like it had hardly any paint left on it. I guess it was 'ultra rare' though
