Sarcastic Ebay Bargains!

Postby Awl Skulkerkey » Mon Jun 05, 2017 10:23 pm

Hi all. I see lots of you have noticed the ludicrous starting bids of some auctions and the huge buy it now prices. I thought it might be a good idea to try and find the most outrageous greedy Ebayer on one single SW item just for a laugh!?

What about this one. Has the paint just worn off or it is a genuine error.

Look at this on eBay http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/263018444630

My thoughts are the paints worn off although im no factory error wookie expert.

The only thing off with that one is the seller. He's off his rocker. Feel free to join him and place a bid.

Just looks like play wear to me.

Only £400 and if you're quick he's selling the other two band members for £400 each.

£1200 for the complete set - really trying hard to resist the temptation to message the guy and just call him a cunt.

Lmao I actually messaged that seller 2 days ago for a laugh and offered £500 as a bluff just to see if he would say yes, and he said no it's too low.....

I can even see bits of white paint where it's been rubbed off haha!

What he turned down £500 for a beater chewie. He must either genuinely believe he has a rare item or just off his head.

Seller cheeky-mischief is a strange one, I have messaged him a few times now over a bits his listed.

He listed a load of figures a couple of weeks ago at £500 each, a few people sent him a message about his prices so he dropped them to £10 each. One of them just happened to be a PBP Bossk but listed as a standard figure that a few people spotted and the auction shot up on the last few hours to around £100. Somebody told him the figure should have gone for more and offered him £150+ but he had already posted it.

He is now using this single auction to justify stupid prices and feels he has been hoodwinked by the SW community and that all his figures are worth £100's and that we are ganging up to get them on the cheep.

I still constantly see the same figures relisted by that seller and he really isn't budging on the prices at all, they're ludicrous prices

A bit off topic, but I find that a bit annoying how he got messaged afterwards by someone saying it should have gone for more and tried to backdoor the deal, I know if it was me who won it at a fair auction price and had some annoying div destroy my deal i'd have gone rage mode

I know from reading on here that quite a few genuine winners have had deals ruined because of the same.
