They tried this new search a few months ago, you have to go round the houses to find the buy it now items. Wish they would just leave it alone.

Why don't they concentrate their efforts on tightening their security and catching the con men!!

Changed back to the old system straight away!

Ebay was ****in about before I left, and still was this mornin' when I checked. I guess this would explain it.

I'll be opting out now as well.

They do excel in ****ing off their customers!

Just wanted to check to see if anyone can still opt out on ebay.co.uk

For me the option has completely vanished so I guess it's here to stay :(

You can still opt out on ebay.co.uk but they do seem to have fixed most of the problems with the new search anyway.

When you do a search look at the bottom of the page where it says:

"You are currently testing eBay's new search experience. If you prefer, you can opt out of the test."

If on my work pc yesterday there was 800+ listings in vintage carded yet when i got home there was only 300+

The new search is a joke i opted out and a week later was stuck back in it i cleared my cookies and everything to no avail so it looks like im stuck with it.

The people in charge at ebay are jokers everything they do is a bad move.

Just bidding on an item its at £11 someone bid it up to just over my max bid of £30 and low and behold the bid has now been cancelled. Looks like shill bidding but good old ebay made sure we cant tell anymore as its profit for them!

As Craig said

"When you do a search look at the bottom of the page where it says:

It at the bottom of the page, but they don't exactly highlight it for you, so you may need to look a bit. Good old Ebay!
