Saw this up and wondered what it would go for - but £3K is surely too much - and from a zero rated bidder as well !

That is way way over priced. Like Emiel says, the figures are not in good condition. All the droids have badly faded/yellowed stickers.
To give you an idea of how overpriced this is, i did some sums. I value the last 17 at about £450. Lets call it 500 to be generous. That leaves 2500. If there are 100 figures left (he says there are some variants so 100 could be possible but probably less). That would make the remaining figures £25 each.
Either some idiot (er, 2 idiots) is/are paying way over the odds or it's shill bidding.

If you look at the bidders history the top two lunatic bidders are constantly pushing the price up and funnily enough one of them has only ever put bids on that sellers items...

Shill bidding gone mad, its worth about £900 a best. I think he actually wants to win his own auction!!!!

Ive just looked today and the seller has been left a negative feedback for the figures....

The buyer must have picked them up cos it only finished last night. Still cant understand why a very average set went so high.

It is shilling. If it were me with a fake account for shilling and i got reported and ebay contacted me i would claim that the fake account was a genuine one and did not pay for the item. Then leave a negative comment on it, file a report and you're in the clear. Then open another fake account for the next item.
That's my take on it.

Intresting feedback there

http://feedback.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewFeedback2&userid=logan00550&iid=130483197200&de=off&items=25&which=negative&interval=30&_trkparms=negative_30

Clearly not the seller bidding up his own items (leaving neg feedback is going too far!!) - wonder if it is someone with a grudge ?

Anyone know the seller as I'm not that impressed with his current Jawa listing - clearly a fake cape but not really making it clear

I have seen one of these in a price guide before at £200 so he's getting somewhere near I suppose. Still, I missed one starting at £4.99 a couple of years ago and it didn't sell. Might be rare, but if it looks like a dog slept on it rarity isn't everything
