I really want to add a chrome c3po to my collection. In an ideal world I want one sealed in baggie and one opened....
This is the beast I am after:

Will trade for Vintage Star Wars, possibly 6210 Jabbas sail barge or alternatively cash.

Good luck, if this forum is a bit dry for Lego try bricksetforum.com, a lot of trades go on there and 100% lego focused, big contingent of SW Lego fans there as well.
Bricklink might have some for sale as well?

Thanks chaps :)

I have contacted a few brickset and euro bricks folks but haven't heard anything back :(

Budget wise I am looking to spend £100-120 for an opened one with it's bag and up to £170 for a sealed example.

The recent TC14 has caused a price rise so it a terrible time to buy

Have you tried Gumtree Ed? Its very popular for Lego - http://www.gumtree.com/search?q=lego+star+wars&search_location=United+Kingdom&category=all&search_scope=title

Not much doing here I guess. Even on Bricklink the cheapest is £185 loose and that doesn't include the shipping - http://www.bricklink.com/search.asp?pg=1&q=Chrome+c%2D3po&sz=10&searchSort=P

The Evilbay prices are even worse :(, might need to stretch the budget a bit.

Looks like I have found a nice sealed Chrome C3PO! I am buying the following off the same guy

C3PO
Chrome Vader
Chrome Stormtrooper

for 350$ shipped... I think thats an ok price, opinions?
C3PO is selling for 300$ + on ebay, Vader is 60-70$ and the trooper is 25-30$

I cant wait to finally see one in the flesh :D

You're going to have to post images, even if it is just of the bags? Are you planning to open them up?
The price for all three seems very good.
Enjoy them you will

Here is his impressive collection of spares

They are all fully sealed and I intend to keep them that way. I have a loose Vader and Stormtrooper, but would like a complete run of the bagged exclusives.
Also on the wants list is a loose C3PO.... but that can wait
