Miscarded, unopened Shadows Of The Empire figures

Hi All,

I have been offered a lot of vintage toys, 2 of which are Shadows Of The Empire figures which have been packaged on the wrong backing cards.

Please see the attached photos.

I want to buy these with a view to sell on to a collector, but just wanted an idea of what they might me worth.

They are bootlegs, probably from South America and aren't worth anything.

I use to own a set.

Terrible sculpts, wrong colours on figures, bad colour radiation on card and blureed print. Plus most of them were on stormtrooper cards.

They came out in 1996/1997.

Thanks for letting me know, I was due to buy them this week. I was told they came out around 1987.

Shadows of the Empire was a novel / comic series which didn't come out until mid 90s.

Yes. There's even bootlegs of the prequels, although I think that only the Phantom Menace ones were quite widespread. I've even seen them in the local variant of the "Dollar Store" here in the Netherlands around that time.
