The Remains of My Modern Collection (1995-2005) FS.

Postby Ian_C » Mon Nov 16, 2015 5:54 pm

Hi guys,

I hope it's okay to post a separate thread for this and not just reply to the modern sales thread, as I have more than just a few items to sell. ;) Don't know how much interest there will be, but figured I'd give it a go. I'm even going to convert everything to GBP to make it easier on everyone. :)

Please note I'm in Canada - but all prices are listed in £, and do not include shipping. Shipping prices suck, especially when you start looking at larger/heavier items (just cost me £100 to ship an AT-AT, so I'm not even going to list my Falcon or similarly sized items). It's beyond my control, but I will not charge more than I get charged. Until I get a few sales done, I'm not sure on prices, but I believe up to 3-4 carded figures is going to most likely be around £10 or so. Shipping loose might help, but I can't guarantee it until I send some. Better to ship carded to protect the figure.

Also, I am pricing these individually based on research I did on US ebay sales back in the spring. I am not looking for top dollar, but won't give them away at bottom dollar either. I'm trying to find a middle ground that is fair market value for both myself and all buyers. I'm willing to add further discounts for bulk purchases.

PLEASE, when asking for specific figures, be specific, especially if it's a figure with multiple releases. For example, if I have a request for a Saga Vader, I'm stuck because until I hear back, I don't know which one is being asked about. Even something like "the one besides XX in the pic" will help. There are well over one hundred items I have for sale, so this can get confusing fast.

I pretty much had anything and everything released from the first POTF2 wave in 1995 up to the end of ROTS in 2005, with limited items up to TSC. That included figures, vehicles, multipacks, creatures, lightsabers, etc. Much of it is gone now, but there are still some decent items left. First person to reply with any price requests will get first dibs on the item when I reply with a price for the first 24 hours. After 24 hours, or upon the requester saying they're no longer interested, that item is up for anyone else on a first come first serve basis.

I'll only hold things for a reasonable amount of time, and if I get multiple requests for the same item, I'll be open with everyone interested.

If you do not have a solid reputation here or are new, tracking will be required as will a paypal 'gift' payment ( I generally don't care about 'gift' but a couple of bad deals has me adding this requirement for people I am not familiar with that have little to no feedback). If anyone doesn't know me, I think I can provide a few references. ;) Been a LONG time member at rebelscum, and have 100% feedback on ebay as darthvadersalive.

Anyhow, with all that out of the way, here's the list.

Finally a seller of modern with sensible prices!

Nick (hothrebel) may be interested in these but before he does I want Ep 1 -ki-adi-mundi and all R5 cards.

Don't suppose you have darth sidious (not hologram) and OB1 JK lying around?

Hey Richard, got it. I'll go dig those out and see what I can do for shipping.

The others you asked for have all sold some time ago. :(

Cheers!

All messages have been replied to, and a number of figures are pending.

Thanks for the tip concerning the Rebo Band. I've sent him a message, but it looks like he may only be looking for a couple of the figures, not the full set.

Concerning prices, I appreciate the warm welcome for "cheap" prices. It appears things go for more over there in the UK, but that would be unfair for me to raise prices accordingly. I've gone with my initial prices for North America and converted them to pounds, simple as that. Just glad I can help out some of you. :)

My thanks to everyone who has bought items from me, but rather than send individual PM's, I'm giving out a general notice to everyone all at once that the past few days I came down with a nasty bug (keeps things in the open by being public). You can probably all see my activity level has been near zero the last couple of days. I still feel like hell, and today is pretty much the first day I've spent on the computer in the last couple of days.

Everybody's items ARE boxed, but won't ship until Monday, as the post office is closed on Sundays.

Please accept my apologies for a slight delay, and I truly hope it isn't a major inconvenience to anyone.

Sounds nasty, get back on that road to recovery :)
If its Luke Jedi then I'm interested, vintage or modern.

Hi, is this list still up to date? I see quite a few items I would like to add to my collection, prices look reasonable. :)
First post here sorry if I got something wrong.

Thanks,
Mike.

Been a while. Bumping this up with a ton of updates. Most of my bigger vehicles are gone. I do have a POTF2 Falcon MIB, but it's unlikely to be worth it after shipping that monster overseas. :(
