Why are our Trading cards so shit??

Postby _Lee_ » Sun Dec 03, 2017 6:04 pm

So I'm starting to pick up more trading card sets again and am looking at buying a few sets. I've never understood why the US get autos, parallels, sketch etc and the UK only get a basic set that isn't even in the Topps vintage card design. We can buy the hobby boxes from the US etc but we pay a huge premium.

So why are the cards/sets we get, so crap??

My guess would be that cards have always been a big thing in the USA like baseball cards etc and have never really took off in England to a big degree ? Just a guess though
