This does indeed look awesome but Haslab will only ship to the States

Wonder if we could demonstrate enough demand if they would send the to Europe. I'd order one.

As would I. I want one of these, but Hasbro are demonstrating their utter contempt for Star Wars fans living outside of America. Why is this only shipping to the US? How would it hurt them to ship it to Europe, Australia, New Zealand, and other safe destination countries as well? They'd get more people (like me) signing up to crowdfund it, but I'm forgetting... Star Wars is only for Americans

Jedi Temple Archives are trying to get Hasbro's attention regarding opening up Haslab to collectors outside the US. Who knows if it will work but if you are interested in a Sail Barge and future Haslab products its worth adding your name to this:

... It's kind of nuts that they're doing this preorder considering it's Hasbro, but then again how long have we waited for one of these. So it's about £400, and depending on how many they make, it would likely go up in value.

If this all happens and the preorder works we might finally get a proper a Star Destroyer.

Still, I don't collect modern, so I wonder how good it would look with vintage figures inside.

Retro Blasting echo many of the above opinions worth a watch

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=koRTU-nZlJU

I do agree that many of the latest offerings from Hasbro are truly appalling, Hans new Falcon does not look good, but maybe kids will like toys like the new falcon, but with sales down 20 0dd % maybe not. ???

Every now and then they come out with a little gem which I would get but they are very few and far over the modern range and would not be a customer at that price, ow wait US market only :)

Looks amazing and would look great on display. A bit beyond my means at the moment though.

Dark Side Toys have announced a way for European collectors to get a Khetanna! It's not cheap, but for £599.99 to residents of most countries including the UK (and a little more for some others), one can now be yours:

https://www.darksidetoys.co.uk/pages/star-wars-the-vintage-collection-jabbas-sail-barge-the-khetanna-in-uk-europe

https://www.darksidetoys.co.uk/collections/the-vintage-collection-jabbas-sail-barge-the-khetanna

Since the Hasbro purchase price is £365 and a whopping £236.99 is for shipping and customs fees, Dark Side Toys do at least allow a 2-part payment plan where if you'd rather not pay the whole £599.99 in one go, you can instead pay the £365 now, and then the £236.99 in February 2019 when it ships.

Single payment:

Payment Plan:

Just to clarify:

Darkside Toys are not affiliated with Hasbro. The company was registered about 6 weeks ago. They have no business addresses and are registered to a residential house. They have an ebay store.

Good luck!

Sounds legit.

Hasbro should be offering Europe/Worldwide shipping themselves if they want a hope in hell's chance of hitting 5000 preorders...

In fairness to Dave that owns Darkside Toys he seems a decent guy from the dealings I've had. I would be cautious of handing 600 quid to a new business though unless you use your credit card for protection.

That's what I said. I won't back it unless Hasbro take UK and Europe seriously.

OK, fair enough. Thank you for the information. In fairness to me however, firstly I was effectively reposting in a more user-friendly format (i.e. with direct links to the relevant pages) information posted on Yakface, a reputable website, here:

http://yakfaceforums.com/main/2018/03/16/sail-barge-ordering-option-for-europe/

The payments to Dark Side Toys are made through PayPal, so there should be some protection there, surely? I've not shopped with them before and I'm certainly not affiliated with them in any way. As should be very clear from my earlier posts in this thread, I was (and still am) keen for the Khetanna to be made available to collectors outside of the USA (and Canada, since Hasbro have at least extended their orders to that country). However, I greatly dislike the Hasbro asking price of $500, let alone DST's £600, but if you want a Khetanna and live in Europe, your choices are rather limited!

Personally, much as I definitely would like to own a Khetanna, I am not thrilled about paying £600, so I am currently on the fence about buying one. If I do, it will certainly be via the 2-part payment method, but I won't make my final decision until 3 or 4 days before the Hasbro time limit is up. If it looks like it will hit the 5000 pre-orders, then I may well sign up. If it doesn't, I probably won't bother.

You could always have a pop at this one

Thanks, yes I saw that! :) It looks amazing, doesn't it? It's certainly far better than Hasbro's, so goodness knows what the winning bid will end up being!... Well out of my league, I should think, and that's before the shipping and tax costs to the UK.... but I can dream! :-D
