Looking to sell some at the next Sandown in November (saves on a nightmare postage scenario). Need to find all the boxes and get them bagged up.... Likely to be around 30-40 sets!
Put Captain Solo in the cargo hold!

Manged to get the Iron Man Hulk Buster from John Lewis on line last week for £95!
It wasn’t in any sale, just had £25 off the rrp.
Now it’s back up to £120, not sure whether it was a cock up or just a promotion?
Anyone else get/notice this?

I was going to get it for “my Christmas” build and started looking at where it was cheapest.
Don’t even know why I looked at JL, but really glad I did.
I expected that the order was going to be rejected at checkout, but it went through!
Looking forward to Christmas now! :D
If I see one on offer again I’ll let you know.

Serious bit of kit here, collectors series Falcon, weighs in at 10kg!, looks a lot of fun albeit very expensive.

10kg? It’s closer to 22kg.

It is a beast, but it is also a hard build. It is at the very limits of Lego’s mechanical properties imo. You can hear it cracking and feel it flexing when you pick it up plus it is virtually impossible to move without bits of it breaking.

Oh, and it is the largest production set that lego have ever made.
WANTED: The following speederbikes. I would like them boxed but open and complete. I need:

Meccano stickered bike
Pbp stickered bilogo
Danish stickered bilogo
Special offer uk bilogo

Wow, really is a display piece only then.

Been building again.

This is my fourth attempt at building a system scale Hogwarts and easily the best so far. There are still a few issues with the angles of the buildings and bits, but overall I think this is a pretty good 'Lego Scale' rendering of the building. No idea where it is going to live though :)
