This reeks to me of dodgeyness
The Snaggletooth looks as fake as they come.
Not sure about the Yak, that looks ok.
Weapons look odd as well. I dare say the cape is bogus to boot!

Oh and no returns accepted
What say you?

No point in saying no returns accepted, you have to accept returns according to the distance selling regulations, plus eBay almost always decide in the buyers favour.

Yeah, 99.9% of sellers that use the completely useless "no returns accepted" or "sold as seen" have no idea what that means in actual terms. A buyer can always return an item if they feel it was pictured badly, poorly described, not as good as it was lead to be, containing flaws not mentioned, is fake whether the buyer mentioned it being real or not, or just plain smells a bit. So it really is a completely useless appendage to your sale. Except, i suppose, for the fact that it will fool one or two more naive buyers.

Hi All. Totally new to this forum, so go easy.

I have read numerous posts on numerous forums about recorded figures on eBay. Particularly re costablancastarwars and blistersisters.

I am fully aware that the figures are regarded on fake cards etc. but can someone confirm that the actual figures are genuine?

I am looking At getting my brother 3 or 4 as he sold all his figures years ago. But really want actual Kenner figures.

Any advice would be appreciated?

Hi Clubmatty...

The figures in the recards you mention are genuine Kenner figures but the accessories are probably not. As Tundra mention the only reproduction figure that is practically the same as the originals are Stormtroopers, the best give away for a new collector is that these fakes are 'persil white' where as the originals usually have a bit of yellowing to them. See this thread here for a guide on the fake stormies...

http://www.starwarsforum.co.uk/viewtopic.php?f=16&t=14463&hilit=poon+stormtrooper

I see the temptation to buying these recarded figures as a new collector and in the small number you may be considering purchase there is 'no harm' to the hobby. In reality though any purchase from these sellers contributes to this 'negative' side of the hobby and helps funds somebody who is actively producing fakes and duping less knowledgeable collectors.

Most people on here are against repro-weapons, repro-cardbacks and repro-recards as we are aware of the effects they have on the hobby.

Hope you pick up something decent for your brother. :D

Costblanca star wars now trading as blue*harvest

His figures can also be fake or touched up - hollow tube tusken raider for example

buyer beware and just steer clear. I picked up a C8 MOC Han Hoth for £45 last week, why on earth would anyone want repro

http://feedback.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewFeedback2&ftab=FeedbackAsSeller&userid=blue*harvest&iid=111624616690&de=off&items=25&interval=0&mPg=18&page=4

how does ebay rate that at 100% positive - crazy
