If you hit 'print' on the auction page you can see what the best offer was. It was £1750. I agree, why would you take this off the card. Makes no sense, there are loads of mint loose VCJs around and it's worth a lot more MOC.

There is one on my baggie guide, but presumed fake to date, though I have been looking in to the matter & may have some news regarding it in the future.
