Ha ha true :D :D .

I think the way Dave Prowse conducts himself and asks £20 an autograph puts me right off. Give me a £20 loose figure any day!

Has anyone here actually been to this?

Having read the posts in this thread it sounds like one to avoid but if anyone has actually been it would be good to get a first hand report

I went to this today. Some bits were good, some bits were utter shite (they had an Ewok Village which was so crap it was comical).

It was pretty busy to be fair so that meant A LOT of queuing. They had VIP tickets to supposedly jump the queues but loads of people had them so you just ended up in a queue anyway. The VIP 'meal' was a meat pie with some mushy peas served in a tent. :?

There are a lot of people kicking off about it on the Facebook page. I was with a little one who really enjoyed it so that's all that matters to me to be honest. I also met the guy who played Biggs Darklighter who was awesome and there was a girl dressed as Oola (the real Oola was there too) who was pretty damn hot! :D

Can't be arsed to search the thread but didn't he throw his toys out of the pram and call us all house husbands who watched stars wars on loop in between wanking over porn. At least he kept his word and never returned.

I wouldn't attend this out of principle. But even before I knew it was him I decided to pass, it looked so amateur for the size of the event.

Still Sounds like he made a shed load of cash out this, just hope people got their money's worth.

Wonder what the Beeb would make of the legendary thread.

Some very racked off people and from some of the photos it looks a little disappointing compared to the way it was being advertised. Glad I didn't bother with it tbf.

Interesting to see that link also contains a link to this forum!!

So was the price of a VIP ticket for all days of the event, or just one day?

Not my cup of tea in the slightest, but looking at the photos I could see kids enjoying it.

looks like a lot of unhappy people with VIP access. heres some facebook comments

"where was wicket and the other ewoks? They looked like chimp babies! "

"At what point did you collectively as organisers line those airline seats up against a wall (the seats aren't even facing the right way!) and say to yourselves "Yeah, this looks great!"? " - the Millennium Falcon exhibit

"The catering was poor too. The pies were the kind of thing you get at Morrisons for 1.75 a bag of four. Nice enough but hardly vip. I know you have said you were let down but come on guys you could have had samples first. "

"To top off the one luke warm potato pie and spoonfull of hard peas with a bottle of water was not what i expected for a VIP ticket price."

"Saying that the goody bag of a pad a badge and pen and a lanyard strap is worth ten quid is a joke."

and I didnt go, but why do I care? because when people put on proper events, or do cool stuff in the future, if there are events like this which appear to rip people off then its bad all round. I did secret cinema and it was worth every bloody penny.

If the organisers were worth their salt then they would refund all the complaining VIPs down to the regular price.
