Same, but if I watched them all for the first time today, I would put Rogue One above Jedi (childhood favourite)

Surely there are 9 movies?

Think I'd agree Grant. Seen R1 three times now and it is knocking on the door to nudge ROTJ out of the top three :shock:

Joint last: The prequel trilogy.

Hmmm, let's see. First I think:
1) TESB -> nice dark feel to it, I like the super star destroyer
And than, yes, the second one I guess:
2) ROTJ -> great battle in space, again I like the super star destroyer :?
What to put on the third place, mhhhh?
3) ANH -> sorry guys, OT first
So, what to do with the later movies, huh?
4) TFA -> although a bit like ANH I guess it belongs below it
Yes, the prequels, hard to see which one comes first but do or do not:
5) AOTC -> it was such a relief after kiddo Skywalker and I liked Kamino
Easier it gets, so here we go:
6) ROTS -> the battle between Obi and Anakin is way too long and Vaders 'noooooooh' a little bit ridiculous, but overall ok
And last, but not least:
7) TPM -> meesa not lika it, muy, muy bad.... :lol:

For me it's

1) Return of the Jedi
2) Rogue One
3) Star Wars
4) Empire Strikes Back
5) The Force Awakens

The other prequels I am not that bothered about although Sith was okay.

Jedi is my favourite as I grew up with that as a kid and it therefore holds a dear place in my heart. Rogue One has totally enhanced Star Wars for me as the opening scene now has a far greater impact and has done what ROTS should have done imo.
I have probably gone against the grain with ESB but watching it as a kid after the Hoth battle I found the remainder pretty boring to be honest and it has stuck with me ever since.
