Probably the wrong approach, I had a cheap B Wing Pilot that was frosted I just stuck it on top of my bedside lamp for about an hour. It cleared completely. Couple years later it's still clear. Normal bulb used, does not seem to have done any harm - but I can see this would have been risky so I am not recommending. Just sharing the experience

Looks like a Frank Beech moc. Lots of the Leias had that heavy frosting. Pleased to see it's fixable!

Thought I should show a before and after, appologies for the before one as it isn't quite as clear but there was heavy frosting on the face and the boots.

Hi Guys

I know nothing about frosting and I do not have any figures with frosting on them currently but I would like to know how to prevent frosting from occuring in the first place?

Thanks for your help.

Hi

I have been looking at a few graded items and one piece has frosting is it significantly more difficult to get rid of frosting on a graded piece due to the fact it is encased in an acrylic case?

Thanks for your help.

I only had the one figure affected by frosting, and have been reading this with intrest.
So yesterday I had a go at getting rid of the frosting, I truly couldn't believe it would work so well.
It wasn't particularly hot yesterday, left the card and figure kn the window for 2 1/2 hours and all the frosting as gone, unbelievable.
Is was so easy and it just goes to show it does not have to be that hot a day to get great results.
Here are the before and after pictures:
