Lots of great scores here guys
Here is a shadowbox I put together with a signed trading card of Ralph McQuarrie I got in a trade with lee, the card is signed with his initials as he was ill in later life, glad to have it,(yes I know the card is signed upside down lol) the figure is one made for his cameo appearance in empire

Attended Swindon Comi-Con today and met a bunch of great guys that had small parts in Star War, Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi:

Chris Bunn - Stormtrooper

Richard Oldfield - Hobie (Snowspeeder pilot)

Michael Ritter - Captain Needa

Brian Wheeler - Ewok

I also got Michael Henry (Ewok and Jawa), but neglected to get a pic after chatting and signing!

There were a couple of guys from TFA too that (as it was a two day pass and close to where I work), I may yet pop back to pick-up and chat to tomorrow :D

Oh, quick question... what is the best way to store these? The ones I got in the 90's have all stuck to the clear view folder I innocently put them in... I don't have wall space to frame them all, so need a 'filing' solution... is it as simple as a loose leaf photo album or is there a ready made solution that is pretty straight-forward?

I was going to point you towards Franksautographs. I interviewed the owner Nick Hopkins months back in spring 2015, but in searching for the link, I have just found out he has passed away, :(

Well, using Franks Autographs as a starting point; I'm learning lots already about Polyester storage wallets/pockets and filing boxes - Thanks for the tip Grant. Something good to report at least, despite the sadness of the chap passing. It does seem there are alternate suppliers now I know what to actually look for too.

Back for Swindon Comi-Con day two and a few more for this embryonic collection:

Ted Western - Cantina Patron (SW)
Ted gave me a call sheet (copy) when signing too which was super cool of him.

Clem So - Resistance Fighter (TFA)
Great guy and although I'd decided initially to stick to OT only, he was so nice to chat to and really interested in vintage collecting I had to grab this one too!

Barrie Holland - Lt. Renz (ROTJ)
What a legend... talked to me for 20-30 minutes regaling tale after tale of his time on set, the people he worked with and so much more...

Nice pick ups.

Barrie Holland. Man, that guy has got some stories. He actually invited me to house a few years ago for a tour around. I never went, but I suppose the invitation still stands. I sent my Jedi poster to him at home for an autograph and it came back with a whole bunch of various signed photos and cards. Very nice of him I thought and I still have them to this very day.
Richard Oldfield is one that I would love to get on my Empire poster.

I use Itoya profolios:

Had my signed pics in them for years and still in perfect condition.

Great buys everyone, autographs are really getting popular . My latest purchases, including a very rare Jeremy Sinden :

Barrie Holland is a class act, and a Lutonian. Couldnt beleive the day i told him i saw ROTJ in the Luton ABC cinema in 1983 and how his line is popular, he then replied he was born around the corner!!

I use a site called 'Arrowfile' mate, got all mine in the polyester sleeves they sell on there.

Search 'Archival Polyester Sleeves' and you should be ok. £14(ish) for a pack of 10

Thank you all!
I had a chat with some folks in the National Archive team at work (Historic England) and they suggested looking at Secol's website. Looks about the same prices (broadly) and the product looks decent. I have also gone back to episode ten of the Vintage Rebellion Podcast as suggested by Grant. Something that on reflection I'd now recommend to anyone in my situation; great information, even the minor details of boxing and 'hanging' rather than stacking to reduce weight on the items over time.
Love a bit of education :D

Nice one!
I've tried looking, but I can't see it... maybe I imagined it, but I'm pretty sure that a long time ago you posted a link to a website that had a list of events where Star Wars actors, supporting actors and extras would be attending through the year.
If its not a false memory, do you still have it, can you please post it again.

Got a great deal ( we are talking peanuts ) on this Alec Guinness photo which helped me to obtain the vintage 1980,s Ford and earlier Sebastian shaw. Probably my best year ever with autographs.

Loving the shot for the Alec Guinness auto' mate.

Anthony Forrest always has a similar photo' at his table, but I'm liking this one a lot more.

Nice autos bud. However, I'm bittersweet about the R2s - there is only one R2 and he is up there in the sky now.
