Is his right leg a bit frosty?
Looks it but a bit of sunshine (or more likely a desk lamp at this time of year) will sort that right out

As Lejackal has mentioned, wait until spring and put him in the sun for a few hours and he will be as good as new.
I would love someone to explain the science to me!

I had the same frosting to the same figure. I put it close to my table Lamp bulb and it cleared with 30 Mins.

Be careful. But it does work !

How long does the fix with the light method last for?.. is it long-term?

I treated two figures that had quite bad frosting in May and they still look as good as new.
I assume that once the leaching process has started it will carry on, so expect that I will have to give them another dose of sunshine at some point.

I bought a carded potf b-wing pilot from the modellers loft back in 2006 for £26 and the frosty was the worst I've ever seen!

wish I'd kept it now

At least that's good to know there's some kind of long term fix then, if it had to be done every month or two that would get a bit annoying.
