Serious bit of kit here, collectors series Falcon, weighs in at 10kg!, looks a lot of fun albeit very expensive.

10kg? It's closer to 22kg.

It is a beast, but it is also a hard build. It is at the very limits of Lego's mechanical properties imo. You can hear it cracking and feel it flexing when you pick it up plus it is virtually impossible to move without bits of it breaking.

Oh, and it is the largest production set that lego have ever made.

Wow, really is a display piece only then.

Wished I'd seen that. Been after that set for a while.
I was going to get it for "my Christmas" build and started looking at where it was cheapest.
Don't even know why I looked at JL, but really glad I did.
I expected that the order was going to be rejected at checkout, but it went through!
Looking forward to Christmas now! :D
If I see one on offer again I'll let you know.

Cheers.

Been building again.

This is my fourth attempt at building a system scale Hogwarts and easily the best so far. There are still a few issues with the angles of the buildings and bits, but overall I think this is a pretty good 'Lego Scale' rendering of the building. No idea where it is going to live though :)

I love the Solo Speeder, that looks really cool. 8)

I really enjoyed it. And although people often say Lego is expensive I think for what you actually get it's not too bad. This was £20 on Amazon, it's got three bags with **** loads of bits in and takes a good while to build. We did the Rey speeder and now this. I think I'm gonna just pick up the odd small speeder/vehicle set and build them!

Everythings expensive these days! For what you get it's not to bad really. Both my kids love Lego and I think it's the best value toy because they play with it over and over.
