Hi everyone.

Has anyone been watching Toyshop On Tour?

It is the blokes from Leicester Vintage and Old Toy Shop travelling the UK, visiting second hand toy shops.

In Episode 3 they visit Peter Weeks, based in Truro. He shows the blokes his Star Wars collection and what an amazing collection it is.

The series of 30 minute episodes can be found on YouTube.

Can't post a link, but it is easy to find on YouTube.

Yeah been watching them. Absolutely brilliant, they have the best job ever. Very entertaining, I think they are trying to do an American journey?

That was a great video. Thanks for recommending it. As for the Star Wars (and MOTU and Thundercats) collection, it certainly was very impressive. He certainly likes his grading, doesn't he? :LOL:

He is/was a massive u-grader. He's very much an advocate of opening MOCs and baggies.

Love all the videos these guys do, watched episode 3 today which was where I grew up! The shop in Redruth is really close to the Cinema where I watched so many classic films as a kid, Jurassic Park, Bill and Teds excellent adventure and the Star Wars Trilogy Special edition in 1997 to name a phew. I actually didn't no that shop exists! I visit my parents as often as I can and they have retired to Marazion which is where they go on the beach and in the sea in the video. Rest assured I will be visiting both shops very soon! He does like his graded stuff, he's probably spent more on grading than what my collection is worth.

The next episode has my local toy shop in it, Final Frontier in PLymouth, when I say local its an hour away, every time I go in to see Julian he remembers me as the Star Wars guy and is super friendly.

Anyway here's to the hairy bikers of vintage toys!

@Clawrence @welshwookie

To clarify Peter Weeks is the u-grade wanker and I do not know if he has a group/page etc

Joe at Leicester vintage is great and if you wanted his page and group details I apologise as I could have provided that for you

That`s fine Carl. I just wondered if he had something online to browse, as he looked well stocked.

Well, I certainly don't approve of U-grading (his U-grade Lili Ledy Yoda seemed an extraordinary thing to have; who the hell opens a carded LL figure?!), but then again, I dislike grading full stop, as I have made clear in the past. Each to their own of course, but you'll never catch me paying someone else to tell me how good something is that I already own and can see with my own eyes, not to mention then entombing it in plastic so it can never be touched again.
