Plain old British Dettol is a good paint remover to without being harsh on plastic. I use it for removing paint from old minis, etc.

Whilst I love the idea of farthest from, it just happens to be in the worst location in the UK for most people, i live pretty much in the middle of the uk and its a 5-6 hour drive for me (with no traffic). I would suggest he gives some idea of location and see if anyone nearby can help.

The guess I heard was that towards the end of the runs of some figures, they would find bins of the preprods and shove them into cards.

I think the question was, "how did they ship figures"? i.e. were they always shipped as a box of 144 Farmboys, or did they have mixed cases and did they mix up waves of figures as they were released.
