Thanks - that's useful. Nice to know my memory isn't completely failing. Also, on the subject of the Vectis auction, did anyone notice the Clipper card ESB 45 back Hammerhead? It looked very (too?) clean. Cross referencing with the Mr Palitoy table would increase the questions too, I think.
If 21.99 is the avg for an R2, there is clearly a droid army of beaters out there! The range is £1 to £207, so I think you'd still have to shell out £50-£70 for a decent one.
As we know, all depends on condition - if mint, yes you're probably right. I picked up a decent Stormie and Obi-Wan with weapons not long ago for about £35 each +postage. Same with a large head Han Solo. Others will vary but Luke, Leia and R2 are still the toughies I think.
If you work off £30 a go on average and then think a good Luke or R2D2 could be 70, I think low 400s is about right. Tips on the lightsabres still in place makes a difference.
Klaatu and Lando Skiff are good figures I have a soft spot for. When I was a kid back in 1983 you couldn't get them for ages and when they finally turned up in the shop I had to ask my dad to lend me a couple of quid to get them. How times change.
Hi Blackbeard. I'm relatively new to the forum (only a couple of weeks) and am potentially looking to buy some figures from conradrithblat. Unfortunately I can't conversation him for the understandable reasons above, but he can't do the same with me either. Short of passing data on a public...
Understand the reasoning. Personally I am trying to talk to conradrithblat about some figures he has posted for sale. I can't message him for the reasons mentioned above but he also says he can't message me either so, other than through a public thread, we are a bit stuck.
Hi - I am also new to the forum and have a similar problem - but when I click on the envelope icon I don't get a "start conversation" option - just a message saying I have no recent conversations. Anyone seen that before? Thanks.
Hi - thanks. I'm a new joiner to the forum and I think PMs may have been disabled (certainly if I go to the mail icon I don't see a "start conversation" option). Any advice welcome - if I can't work it out may have to speak to one of the admin guys.
