Action figure set ups

I thought about posting these pictures in the dioramas thread but these set ups aren't really of that quality. The Imperial display is from an event I ran a couple of years ago. I have a bigger army than that but we ran out of time setting it up.

The Ewok village is from my old 90's bedroom. For some reason Luke Skywalker is missing. He was originally standing staring at the ghosts of Yoda, Anakin and Ben. I still have the display in storage and might drag it out again some time.

So that's where those missing jigsaw pieces go!

I was quite proud of my Ewok set up when I first put it together. The huts even had real flame effect light bulbs. It was meant to be a slice of innocent fun, with no dodgy intentions (although some of the poses were a little ill-judged).

Top marks to anyone who can spot the character that was cut from the on-location Endor scenes but was included in the Elstree footage.

I tend to keep odd jigsaw pieces even today just in case I find the jigsaw in my collection that it is missing from. I don't think that the piece in the photograph is from a vintage Star Wars jigsaw though.

Love the Emperor walking between all his troops. My daughter's would have played domino's with them if I did that. 8)

The Imperial forces pic must have taken the patience of a saint to set up, without the domino effect happening

The imperial parade is awesome, always dreamed of an army as a kid... Been focused on getting one of each (though one of each as a concept seems a never ending variant minefield), so have very few multiples to achieve anything like that... Never say never though! :wink:

I love set ups like that, the Imperial Army is sweet.
