Yesterday in Tescos my wife called an 18 inch Biker Scout a Stormtrooper! Well today when my little un' got the tub of beaters out I thought it would be amusing while we were waiting for roast dinner to cook to see how many she actually knew the name of. So my daughter pulled out one at a time and she had to name them. Talk about piss poor effort... I wouldn't mind but there's a bloody cabinet full of them on the wall which I talk about enough and she's seen the films plenty. It was quite funny actually and to be fair she prob got about a third of them right. Was interesting to see which ones she knew. Virtually all human male figures are Luke apparently. What made me laugh the most was the names she's made up for them when playing with my daughter e.g Death Squad Commander and Cloud Car Pilot = mushroom head, 8D8 = skelleton man, Rancor keeper = fat baldy, Walrus Man = bumface, Yoda = baby etc and my personal favourite, Ugnaught = pig hobbit! So does your other half know their vintage or not have a fxxkin scooby?

To be fair. If my better half was into Care Bares or something else equally **** (which is how a lot of woman probably think of our great hobby) then I don't know if Id be able to name any of them far less get a third of them. Just a thought. So to the OP your missus is doing ok. 8)

When I was a kid my mother always used to get Star Wars and Star Trek mixed up and she still does it till this day!! I'm sure she does it deliberately to piss me off.

She came round once and I had a SW logo t-shirt on - 'oh is that that Star Trek, remember you used to like that?'

'the man with the big worms comin out his head' is the only character she ever remembers (Bib) and the 'big slug thing' (Jabba). Couldn't remember Luke or owt and could never follow the plot of the film.

Luckily my wifes not too bad, she knows the SW basics at least

Just did this test. Had to make her a coffee in return

In fairness, she did pretty well. Got all the major characters, disguised characters, Jawa, Sandpeople, Snaggletooth, Salacious Crumb, Jabba, Max Rebo, Ackbar, Wampa etc. Came totally unstuck with the different Imperials, Ewoks and Jabba's Entourage. Impressed!

Repeated with my 6 year old- all correct bar Nikto! Brilliant!

Finally, repeated with my 8 year old. All correct, apart from... Nikto again! I can feel some Nikto revision coming on

Fair comment Grant, but then Care Bears aren't from the biggest most popular film franchise in cinematic history. Yeah she did ok, it was only for a laugh :D

I agree Dude. I just like to go Devils advocate sometimes.
