Boxed ROTJ AT-AT

I bought a large lot of figures and ships a while ago which contained a boxed ROTJ bilogo AT-AT. I only really have room to display smaller ships and figures and after much deliberating I think I will need to sell it rather than leaving it in my loft where no one will see it.

The AT-AT seems in good shape, unfortunately the chin guns are missing but otherwise complete and the electrics worked when I tested them a few months ago, I'll check again before I sell.

The box as a whole is not in great shape as can hopefully be seen from the photos.

Any advice on valuation would be greatly appreciated.

Happy to add more pics if requested

Thanks
Will

Hi Will

I reckon a complete, loose walker in similar condition would fetch 100. Unfortunately the chin guns are the most difficult (and therefore expensive) part to get ... Probably 30-40 quid on eBay.

This is offset by the box... It isn't in great condition but realistically to buy one (on eBay) would cost 30-50 quid. The latter if the box contains inserts.

So for what it's worth, I'd expect 90 - 100, but much more knowledgeable chaps on here than me.

Hi Jayums

Thanks a lot for your response. this valuation is pretty much what I expected but wanted an independent view as I'm far from an expert.

I need to get some of those massive batteries to test the electrics after which I'll aim to list in the for sale thread. In the meantime anyone else with a view, feel free to chip in

No expert here either by any stretch of the imagination! Just recently picked up a couple of them. Posted mine in the recent acquisitions section last week.

I don't tend to find the electronics working or not is a deal breaker. They can usually be fixed simple enough. Chin guns are a real pain to get at a reasonable price. Very often you can realise a higher price if you sell off as parts, but personally I think that's a shame.

Worth checking out Mike Strange's latest thread at the mo as he has a big collection of At at walkers and he might be able to give you a better idea about the difficulty or not of finding this particular box version. Palitoy often seems to fetch a better price than Kenner.
