That's exactly the sort of pen! I've never found a single reference to them, only ones with naked ladies on them. The fan-club connection was likely a false memory.

Here is the pen I bought in 1979. Unfortunately the sliding black part doesn't function any more.

I have all my original SWFC memorabilia. Haven't looked at in years!
