Just seen this thread. I've never been, is it a one day event? Do you have to book tickets? Sorry for such noob questions. I don't do facebook to check it out in full.

It's a one day event, and no need to book tickets - just turn up on the day. There's usually a bit of a queue for early bird entry.

Been a while since I've posted here, but after seeing so many familiar faces at the weekend, many of whom I orignally got to know through SWFUK, I thought take a look around here to see whats happening.

It was a great weekend as always, complete Star Wars overload.

I arrived on the Saturday afternoon and got to meet Guy Henry who played Tarkin in R1 and picked up an autograph from him.

Saturday evening was as lively as ever. Ended up staying in Ringwood due to lack of room availabilty in Fordingbridge itself. About a dozen of us went for curry and ended up having a late drink one of the pubs in Ringwood.

Sunday morning got to Fordingbridge for 10 to set up the Generation Skywalker stand (and to have sneak peak of what was offer) There was loads on offer and the vendors I spoke to said they had done well. I picked up a full counter display of ESB micro tins and a few other beyond the toys bits, as well as a couple of lovely prints from Mark Daniels. TBH I've still not adjusted to the new price levels of MOC so I think this is the only FF I've walked away from without one. Some lovely stuff there though.

Gus did a talk on prototypes upstairs and TVR, Fantha Tracks and Generation Skywalker all did live podcasts. Jez did a ton of interviews so listen out for Generation Skywalkers FF follow up show which should drop in the next week or 2.

I was really well attend and everyone was in great spirits, fantastic to be able to get back to a live show. Big shout to out Dave Tree for continuing to organise this. We really needed it.

Yes I made it down and really enjoyed it, great to see everyone after a couple of years. As above it was busy and there was an excellent selection of vintage toys, prices were mainly on the high side but I guess that's the current market. I also didn't buy anything for myself which is rare, I just left with a couple of mini rigs for my boys, which were well received :)

I saw a few pics on Facebook and the highlight for me was a Trilogo Chief Chirpa for what looked like £330 😂😂

I had a fantastic time on the Sunday and it was fabulous to see all the bhoys again after such a long time.
It was one of the best stocked FF I've been to but I also came away almost empty handed. The jump in prices in the last 18 months really hit me, usually there might be one or two pieces pushing a grand but it seemed like there was a huge amount getting up to that figure and beyond.
I did pick up a dengar baggy in the charity auction and homeslice @scooternick bought me a panini sticker pack which I've wanted for a while.
Highlights were Gus's talk and just spending the day catching up, I would have loved to been able to do the Saturday night.

Another FF under the belt.
Had a great day on Sunday mainly catching up with people I hadn't seen for 2 years.
I too walked away empty handed, but that's often the case for me a FF, there is either so much that I'm looking for or nothing I'm interested in at that time.
I think it's just a sign of having collected for a while now and the wants list gets smaller and hence harder to find in the condition I will accept.
Although I was bery tempted by a 20 Han that was a very reasonable price…
Looking forward to the next one in 22.

I sadly couldn't make it this year and it was a shame not to have some time to spend with members on here who attended. There's always next year but it's a shame to hear that the prices have been raised so much for a show like this. It does make me wonder if people ended up selling much if the prices were high and it also takes some of the enjoyment from vintage collecting. I tend to collect a lot of different vintage toy lines these days but the prices have gone up everywhere so I'm getting less and less.

Still, can't complain really as I'm happy with my lot and I've pretty much ran out of space to put anything......I guess my wife will be happy at least lol!

Are there any pictures though from Sunday? I'd love to see what there was on sale there and some friendly faces :)
