Re: help with indentifcation of weapons please!
Those A-Team M60s seem to be everywhere at the moment, most often being mislabelled as Palitoy Action Force guns on ebay! Palitoy M60s are slightly larger and don't have the second hand grip but the Galoob A-Team version seems to be far more common! https://i1376.photobucket.com/albums/ah25/tobeshad...

Lost And Found
My parents have been revamping the garden in the house I grew up in, so I asked them to fill a pot with any piece of random looking plastic they might find, hoping of course that they might stumble on a lost trove of vintage weapons or vehicle parts! I went to see them today, and alas what they'd fo...

Vintage Jabba Playset
Hi all, Apologies if this has come up before. I wondered if anyone knew of Jabba Playsets coming with two prisoner ropes/shackles? Reading the original instructions, it seems to suggest just one and that you choose which head to attach it to, yet mine has two? Two of my friends also have two ropes o...

Re: Star Wars references in 80s films
The kid in Poltergeist had a ton of Star Wars merchandise in his bedroom from whar I remember including cool ESB bedding Spot on! Was watching this the other day! There's definitely a White Tie Fighter in Poltergeist, and pretty positive it's the same one from ET. Probably the same prop masters, it...

Re: Is there a way to check for repainting?
A lot of the loose beaters I buy have been touched up in various ways. I usually soak them for ten mins in some warm water unless they have stickers or attached soft goods. If it's acrylic model paint or Sharpie, it usually starts to flake/fade almost immediately and as Chris mentioned, you just kno...

Re: Vintage loose valuation
I've never looked into grading but have always wondered whether it was something worth doing? Have any posters on here had a collection graded, rather than individual figures? I can see the advantages in financial terms and also that you get good verification of original items, just not sure it woul...

Wow, just wow! I don't know what's funnier, the price or the clumsy 'SPECIAL edition' added to the description. Some people!

Re: New retroline.......
Wow! So if the rough UK market value for the first wave is £54 (about £9 a figure), it would be around £1000 to get a full run, if by some miracle Hasbro actually sticks to the idea long enough to achieve it, plus you just know that certain figures will be exclusives or pack ins, as already seen wit...
