Re: Is my AFA graded ESB Tie Fighter Pilot... a Toy Toni?!?
I love the TFP cardback, has a lot of nostalgia about it. I would cherish this one, wether it's a TT or not. I do own a TT snowtrooper, wasn't aware about the scam at that time, but I don't regret it because I like the cardback and the minty figure on it. It's not always about value, although the sc...

Re: So who else went back in time... Mando.
I agree on the sentimental journey seeing Luke back. I don't know if you guys understand it, but I felt protected by the appearance of Luke, felt the good of the Jedi in him. About the CGI: did you guys watch the comparison by Deepfake? They did a hell of a job on Luke's appearance, looks more like ...

Re: Rewatched rise of skywalker
I've watched TROS a couple of times, not in cinema, isn't worth it. They've could had made it more worthwhile, using a story line about Rey becoming empress Palpatine. There is something off about the humor, doesn't work and yes, Luke rising his X-Wing from the bottom of the ocean is cool, really co...

Re: What are the 5 favourite items in your collection?
Lovely items. Love the artwork on the model kits. Great you picked it up in a clipper box and it’s mint. Thanks mate! Bought the R2 from a couple that had cleaned their attic. They also offered me a C3PO kit from Clipper. Bought that one too, but was opened and has no assembly description, unfortun...

Re: What are the 5 favourite items in your collection?
Guys, Really, you all have fantastic items to show 8) Here is my humble contribution (in random order): 1) Carded die cast Darth Vader Tie Fighter. I like the bilingual ANH card and of course the Tie Fighter is great! P8210001.JPG 2) Clipper ANH R2D2 model kit. It is still packed in cellophane, so n...

Bespin Luke is one of my favourite vintage action figures. I have three of them, but 2 of them are hard to find at the moment because I have moved to another house
But here is one I've ordered recently. It's in a sealed bag.

Re: Alleged footage for cancelled Star Wars: Underworld project
Made by Stargate Studios, a post-production studio founded in 1989 by cinematographer and special visual effects supervisor Sam Nicholson. So these are some kind of tests? I noticed the landing vehicle at the beginning of the scene, looks like a police vehicle from Blade Runner

Re: Episode 9 for those of us who hated TLJ
Surely it's not hard to fare better than TLJ? The prequels were bad because there was so much CGI and George was pish at writting scripts, but TLJ was bad because it changed so much and had some horrendous flaws. I get yer man wanted to try and take the trilogy in a different direction after the ve...

Re: SPOILERS THREAD-The Rise of Skywalker-SPOILERS THREAD
I did it! Yes, finally I did it: watch TROS. And I've enjoyed most of it as a good fantasy movie. They gave Rose a small role in it, but I had the feeling that they also could have done this for Finn. I most like the 'dark' scenes and the references to the OT, but Palpatine's part, well it's a pity ...
