Re: Star Wars Toy of the Week, Week 46, 2019

My first experience with this chap was as jumble sale in the late eighties. I saw him and assumed a leia hat was wedged onto a Luke - And when I discovered it was a new figure I had never seen - I was so so excited! I never knew the full Last 17 range as they never appeared on the back of any packag...

Re: Spanish moc greedo

I would have thought nearer 120 as he is awkward to locate.

Re: !!SPOILERS!! The Mandalorian Spoilers Allowed Discussion Thread

Just watched episode 1 (not seen two yet)

I enjoyed it. Bit on the nose occasionally (sound effects, door robots etc) but very spaghetti western!

Dammit this is getting my itchy for Droids and Ewoks.

I only finished my classic run on Saturday. :-(

6D6E17F8-689D-401A-A76E-149BE1CD7129.jpeg And with this, I think I’ve finished by original MOC run! Now I have two decisions to make: 1. Do I upgrade certain cards? (POTF to trilogo, ESB on ROTJ cards to ESB etc) 2. Do I collect the Droids/Ewoks line? (I already have a couple) 3. Do I go for Vlix? ...

Do we know when certain card backs were launched into shops?

Hi all! I am trying to work out "exactly" when I got my first Star Wars figures. I can remember the event, I can just about remember the figures... but the date? I was just too young to know that. Alas, my parents have passed away so I can't ask them (though I doubt they would have remembered!) What...

Re: Were they rare

I was also a ESB boy so never saw any of the SW playsets (Death Star, Droid Factory, etc) in real life - I yearned after the Imperial Troop Transport but never saw it in a shop. I only saw a Drawback as a teen in a collectables shop selling for the monstrous price of MIB 50 pound. In fact, I only re...

Re: Tri Logo MOC Luke Stormtrooper

I picked one up in a recent Vectis auction at a price I was happy to pay. (420 + the Huge Vectis fee) I saw one Echo before last at 450 GBP. It all depends on who is seeking the figures at the time IMHO. Previous Luke Storms went a lot higher on Vectis. (480, 540 and even 800 for a clipper Trip-logo...

Re: Forum Vehicle of the Year 2019 - Final

Very surprised Falcon did not make it! For me, it’s the AT-AT. Super playability. Can also be a robot dog for role play. I used it a lot for a variety of Star Wars and non Star Wars play. Also perfect size for that BIG Xmas present you get. Mine was a joint Xmas and birthday as it was so expensive! ...

Re: Forum Vehicle of the Year 2019 - quater final - Match 1

I wanted B-Wing, but as long as that piece of junk constantly exploding Speeder Bike failed, I am happy.

(Still annoyed with his childhood Bikes!)
