Ok, so tried the washing as per the instructions and other than a little patch of what now seems like slight discolouration the cloak has come up lovely, and the main dirt has come of, including a nasty spot of some kind. Very pleased so thanks again for the replies!!

Thanks for the pointers, most grateful. The cape is loose from the figure already so that’s not a problem in this instance. I’ll be very careful how I put it back on!
