Re: Latest Modern Acquisitions

I am collecting the retro collection and Han in Hoth Gear is one of my faves. I have Wave 3 on order which will also include Cara Dune and I lost the plot and bought a Darth Vader Prototype from the US!

Re: Cara Dune

Good post. I didn’t realise she had been sacked and although she was my least favourite character in the Mahdi series I have all wave 3 of the retro collection on order. It’s funny how scarcity improves ones views of a character. :D

K-LOM/Zuckuss

On ebay there are a lot of figures sold as K-LOM when they are Zuckuss. I know there was a mistake made on the card backs in 1981 but unless the figure has 181 stamped on it should it be sold as K-LOM?

Re: StarActionFigures

Thanks guys. On a separate note ebay is a minefield. Just bought a 12" OB1 and luckily it came with the light saber, I say that as I didn't check it had one so I am very fortunate. Looking on ebay the 12" figure lightsabers are going for more than the figures themselves!

I have bene using the Star Action Figures web site and have some figures on pre order.

Having never used pre order before I was rather reluctant and I was wondering what peoples opinions were of the service at Star Action Figures.

Here’s my x-wing, I bought the stand on Facebook.
Lovely display. Are those 8 bit computer cassettes on the left?
Thanks, yes, they’re the Domark Trilogy for Spectrum
Thought Domark from the side think they also did Living Daylights which I had on the Amstrad CPC 464.

Re: Max Rebo Band - Boxed

The colour of max is a factor (although I think there might have been a few variants?) - the biggy is the accessories - both stands and the flute . The flutes tend to go for 30-50 on their own so check it's there! Thanks for the heads up, I am running out of room and have a 12" Luke & Wamp...

Re: Has the pandemic changed your attitude to your collecting?

I could be one of the idiots that has started collecting during lockdown. However the price of the originals figures is far too much and I have bought the Modern Retro Collection instead because they look very similar to the figures I had as a child. I think there is a review somewhere comparing th...
