Re: Customs Fees

I just got stung for £57 import fees and VAT, its a con, £13.50 parcelfarce charge, 10.50 import fee, 34.00 VAT. Its not often I get hit by customs but it sucks when it happens. However, I know there may be a customs charge so I take that into account when buying. But what really bugs me about th...

White background is reflecting your light I use a white light tent with a front cover with a hole in, and look directly down on the case. My problem is that the camera lens gets reflected...

Re: What are the best ways to photograph Acrylic cased MOC's?

I know some of you use light boxes (something I’ve never attempted) to take great pictures of loose figures can these be used to photograph MOC’s well? I've only ever taken a couple of pics of acrylic cased items and that was when I was just messing about after getting a light tent. Spent some ...

Re: i found this in my loft, can anybody help me?

Who ever told you it was Boba Fett's wife - seriously, hunt them down and shoot them. It looks like a metal figure made by a company like Ral Partha (though probably not them). Sort of like the metal war gaming figures, there were larger figures made of various characters. Some of these where maybe u...

Re: 2009 - The year ahead

Due to the fact everyone I buy annoys me - quit buying sideshow 12" figures. If the character hasn't been done before and I see it going cheap, then possibly.
Infact I started that today by cancelling a pre-order :D

Have a clear out of the attic... that will keep me busy for the year

Re: Chewbacca 12" 1996 C series

Back to you Burnsy. If you have a full list of characters that were released for the range I'd be very grateful. I'm only interested in the ones with the flap on the front of the box. No no mate. Don't get me wrong. That list was a big help. The one I asked if anyone had at first though, was the vi...
