Re: New retroline.......

Wow yeah that is a real shame if all the European ones have that piece of paper behind the figures, looks naff.

Re: The next FF.

It's a real achievement to have put on 20 events. I've been to nearly all of them and not only have picked up some nice items for my collection, but more importantly have made some great memories. There are loads of factors that affect the success of an event, some you have no control over eg the we...

Re: Obi-Wan vs. Vader remastered

I was expecting to see ridiculous somersaults etc like Yoda in Episode III, but thankfully they didn't go that far. I think it's an OK 'enhancement' but loses some of the original 'less is more' charm.

Re: Episode 9...your personal feelings

I will definitely watch it, I didn't love TLJ but also didn't hate it as much as some people seem to. I personally don't regard any Star Wars film since ROTJ even in the same league as the original trilogy, so I try to watch the new films subjectively and on their own merits. If the OT are all 10/10...

Re: Esb 45b card back with trilogo bubble

A couple more to look out for to add to your focus Edd? Based on these being the only few I've seen, I would put them down to Palitoy using whatever packaging they had to hand near the end of the line to shift stock rather than a 'legit' packaging variation. I would need to see more of them to star...

Re: Esb 45b card back with trilogo bubble

It is suspected Toy Toni had some Clipper cards as part of his unused cardback haul, so it seems possible that Palitoy could have assembled some. I'd be interested to see it if you have a photo?

Re: Which figure would you keep?

Quite a tough choice actually. Value wise there's not much in it. The Kenner bubble has more chance of going yellow. But I like that you can see more of the photo on the Kenner cardback.
