Re: Latest Acquisitions

Wow that Ackbar is an absolute beauty! There's something very special about clear bubble Jedi MOCs, we're just so used to seeing them yellow or cracked.

It's always been a 'what do you need and I'll see if I have it' answer.
The answer to which is usually a lie because there have been many occasions he's told me he doesn't have something, only to put one (or ten) up for sale later.

Re: Toy Toni

His 'home made' carded figures did not use trilogo bubbles, so anything he sells with a large trilogo style bubble is (probably) legit. His selling goes through peaks and troughs, there was a period a few years ago when he was chrurning out loads of genuine Kenner MOCs in his Brighton shop stall, I ...

Great to see your tri-logo moc edd, it looks fantastic 8) thanks for sharing it. Can you see if the blaster is blue/black or all black ? :D
It is hard to tell inside the bubble, but from the colour alone I think blue/black as there seems to be a blue tinge on some of the edges:

Mario 3D All Stars

Anyone else picked this up? Mario Sunshine and Galaxy look great. 64 is an improvement on the original N64 version graphics wise, but it still has a 4:3 aspect ratio and the textures look very pixelly. It's a shame they didn't make this game from scratch like they did for all the games on the SNES M...

That's a beauty, I don't recall seeing a trilogo Wicket with such a nice bubble!

Re: Unusual Pre Cert Empire Strikes Back Pal VHS

It's a shame about the condition of the tape as that could help identify it (eg what copyright notices, film companies, trailers etc are on it.) But in that state I wouldn't try and play it. Not sure if there is such a thing as a tape cleaner?

Re: Creation thoughts?

Welcome to the forum! I like the colours, definitely more faithful to the film. I would have made them longer personally, I always thought the thin tip of these lightsabres looked slightly odd, not to mention how easily they break. I guess the 'perfect' lightsabre would have been a more sturdy versi...

Re: Netflix High Score documentary.

Yes I've been watching it, just finished the fighting one. Really enjoying it so far. The first couple of episodes are a bit before my time, but the Mario/Sonic and fighting games are when I was really into gaming. Getting a SNES and Street Fighter 2 Turbo for Xmas 93 is probably the most excited I'...

Sorry guys, I'm going to have to lock this thread as it is attracting people who only want to take advantage of Snaketibe's kind offer of a forum invite, and will no doubt never visit the forum again after (I've just rejected two more new member requests on this post.)

Re: Forum Playset of the Year 2020

Out of interest how are you choosing the matches, is it just random? I thought there were a few strange matches for the vehicles polls, eg normal TIE and battle damaged TIE (I think) against each other, or one horse races like Imperial Shuttle vs AST-5  It's hard to know how to do it, but would...

Re: OT: Discovery of M.A.S.K. Toys in Chile

Going on what the sealed items sold for at the last vectis whoever owns this can probably retire very happy. I've been collecting MASK for a few years now, and prices have increased a lot recently. Quite a few items at Vectis surprised me. However with 14 Bullets in each case, there must he hundred...
